Class Swap System - Instructions
The Concept
You might be able to catch up on missed classes if you have been away or ill. You submit class dates you know you will not be attending to the system. You will then have the option of selecting an alternative class currently available for swapping or a credit to use later.
What you can do
- If you know in advance you will miss a class, register it as soon as possible.
- You can only offer classes in the future. No credit is offered for historic classes.
- You don’t have to make a class swap in the same week you miss a class.
- You can attend a class taught by another teacher.
- You can use your credit at any time during the period in which you have paid.
- Select a class suitable for your ability and experience. Intermediate is suitable if you usually attend intermediate level or are an experienced improver. It may not be suitable for some physical conditions.
- Intermediates can attend the Improver level of class.
What you can’t do
- Offer your class last minute. It defeats the idea of a ‘swap’ as most people will want to select a swap ahead of time. If you are ill, make an early submission for a class credit.
- Book a swap and not show up!
- Select a class at a level that is more advanced than your ability.
- Use the system for class variety. If you can attend your regular class, please do so.
